Bus Eireann Provides Additional Services for Kilcock

Local Fianna Fail TD, Frank O’Rourke, has been informed that Bus Eireann will provide additional services for Kilcock Bus commuters, on Route 115, in late March early April. Deputy O’Rourke has campaigned for this improved service over the last year.

From Frank O’Rourke:

The core Bus Eireann frequency to/from Kilcock will increase to every 30mins throughout the day with lower frequencies after 7pm. We have seen the numbers using public transport from Kilcock increasing in recent years.”

The implementation date is now planned for late March.”

Increased bus services is more good public transport news for Kilcock and it follows the very welcome reduction in our Irish Rail fares when Kilcock was included in the “Short Hop Zone” last year. Kilcock is also looking forward the Park and Ride facility which is due to be completed in 2018.
