Kilcock Christmas Lights

Each year KBA funds Kilcock’s Christmas Lights. We raise funds throughout the year to facilitate the purchase, repair and hanging of the lights.

Each year the turning on of the lights along the Royal Canal and in The Square including the beautiful Christmas Tree is great event. The lights bring a wonderful festive atmosphere to our town during the Christmas period.

Kilcock Annual Duck Race

Our biggest fundraiser of the year and probably our most famous event – running since 2007. Each St. Patrick’s Day after the big parade (one of the best in Kildare) the harbour fills with decorated yellow ducks – may the best duck win!

The aim of this programme is to substantially decrease crime rates in the town – and so provide our community with a safer place to live and do business.
