About the Kilcock Business Association
The Kilcock Business Association (KBA) is non-profit organisation run by a small member committee and supported by over 100 fee paying members of our local businesses community. Our aim is to advocate on behalf of local businesses to council and government to enhance Kilcock as a place to do business and to live. Find out more about our projects →
The Kilcock Business Association was formed in November 2009 and it’s first annual event – still running today – was the Annual Duck Race. Every year at the AGM the committee is reformed by popular vote and nominations – we welcome new members to the committee. Please sign up for our newsletter (below) for updates on our latest news and events.
In 2018 we are also enabling a number of sub committees to allow greater involvement in some specific projects such as the Christmas Lights Fundraising and Annual Duck Race. Find out more →

Located 35km west of Dublin on the M4, Kilcock (Cill Choca) is a busy town in North County Kildare, Ireland. Kilcock is the 9th largest town in Co. Kildare and has a population of well over 6,000. This figure is expected to increase by around 40% in the coming years with several housing estates nearing completion or at late planning stage.
Through the centre of Kilcock runs the Royal Canal – the tow path has recently been converted into the stunning Royal Canal Greenway that stretches from Dublin to Athlone and in coming years will extend coast to coast to Galway. The Rye River also runs through the town and designates our border with Co. Meath.
Public transport includes a the Kilcock Railway station in the centre of town and a regular Bus Eireann service (115). There are also 3 primary schools and a large secondary school. The recently opened HSE Kilcock Primary Care Centre is one of our latest major developments in the town.
We have a very active sporting life with numerous sporting organisations such as the Kilcock GAA, Kilcock Celtic and the North Kildare Rugby Club, Kilcock Canoe Polo and many more sporting bodies. Our local community is vibrant and varied: to mention a few – Musical & Dramatic Association, Music school, the Kilcock Art Gallery, restaurants, pubs and associations.
